Central Park Denver

An iterative evolution of beautiful, high-end WordPress websites

Project Brief

Our work for Central Park Denver started in 2015, when the community was referred to as Stapleton Denver. We designed, developed, and led strategy for a comprehensive website overhaul under the auspices of a leading digital media agency in Denver. When this agency pivoted away from offering interactive services, our team took over the Stapleton account directly under mutual agreement of all parties.

This redesign redeveloped an aging Drupal site to a fresh, user-friendly WordPress build, empowering Stapleton’s internal marketing team to fully administrate day-to-day operations. This included migrating thousands of pages of content between platforms. The redesign translated Stapleton’s print advertising into a fresh, complementary digital brand; integrated thoughtful usability best-practices while maintaining the core Stapleton ethos.

Prototyping

Part of our discovery journey included creating persona scenarios, user maps, and prototyping with low-fidelity wireframes which eventually converted into beautiful high-fidelity designs.

Over seven years of partnership with Stapleton/Central Park, we’ve launched numerous 3rd party integrations including CRM and marketing platforms, as well as special event and product line microsites including commercial properties and luxury homes. Recently we supported the community’s name change on the website with a refreshed brand palette.

The Solution

The Central Park Denver and the sister website Central Park Business both underwent additional development to incorporate ADA level AA compliance; we created a second iteration of the website(s) to include requirements of the biggest and most common barriers for disabled users. This included but was not limited to the creation of static design comps that reflect changes to color, layout and typography of core web page templates to meet ADA compliance. We then redeveloped the site on the same database while incorporating new technology to build all new elements with global styling.
